Updates from Crestwood Primary!

It looks like students from Crestwood Primary have been busy learning about Antarctica.  Check out the Student Work page to see what they have been doing!  Thank you to my wonderful students, Mrs. Sorrick, and Mrs. Haumann for making the special movie!

Hey Nature Natatlie,
As my students are finishing up their midterm exams their next assignment is to check out your website/blog. As I walk around monitioring them they seem very inquisitive......researching leopard seals, the different types of penguins mentioned in your blog....researching the various birds!! They seem very intrigued. I find it amazing! ........all your hard work is paying off.....I am so proud of you!

Hi Sis,

I'm so happy that your students are finding the website and blog worthwhile. I just got back from collecting more Belgica antarctica on the local islands here. I got some great pictures of elephant seals today. I'll share them soon! Tell your classes I said hello:)

Hello Ashely and Preslie!

Thanks for blogging with me. I think photography will be my new hobby. I am learning a lot about taking great photos from the staff and scientists here at the station. I have to admit, it's hard to take a bad photo here! Have a great day at school and keep in touch!

Hi Joslynn!

Thanks for your kind message. Dr. Lee and I really enjoyed visiting your school and helping you learn about Antarctica. Everyday I get to do something new here. Today we were in the research lab most of the day so I didn't get to see wildlife. But I have seen several different kinds of animals since I've been here. Be sure to check out the crabeater seal that I just added to the blog. Have a wonderful weekend!
